For parents and teachers
Scope and sequence
Every quest in every band, in the order each realm presents it, with the standards it practices. This page is built from the same data the quests run on, so it always matches what your child sees.
How each quest teaches
Teach
A Learn card opens every quest: a mini-lesson on the skill and a worked example solved step by step, then the guide teaches inside the story.Guided practice
Each question gives a reason for every wrong choice and a stronger second clue. After two tries the answer is shown and explained.Show what you know
The last questions are the mastery check. A star means 80% or more right on the first try; otherwise the quest suggests “Practice 3 more”, and missed questions come back in a quick review before the next quest, until they are right on the first try.
Within a realm, the first quest is the foundation; later quests can be played in any order. The Before this column lists the skills a quest builds on, and which earlier quest practices them, so you can choose a starting point or a quest to revisit. Signed out, progress lasts for this visit (this tab) only; signed-in grown-ups get a saved progress report. For the full-year plan behind each grade, see For parents.
